Growing Instructions

So indoors: Feb-Mar

Sow outdoors: May-Jun

Flowers: Jul-Sep

Sow directly where they are to flower. Sow 15mm deep into finely prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow 2 seeds together every 45cm. Seedlings appear in 14-21 days. When large enough to handle thin out the weaker of the two plants, replant elsewhere if required. Water well until established. Can be started early indoors. Sow into individual pots 15mm deep, place pots in a cold frame or greenhouse. Keep moist. Acclimatise and plat out after manger of frost has passed. Water deeply but infrequently. Feed sparingly. Will require staking or support.
